1. Learn to surf at Batu Bolong beach

This popular surfers’ haunt is ideal for beginners due to its sandy bottom. You will find offers to learn aplenty at the carpark and on the beach. Alternatively you can ask your villa staff to organize a lesson for you.

2. Visit the iconic Tanah Lot

Located a mere 30 minutes from Canggu, this famous Balinese landmark is best visited at sunset. Not only will you find endless instagram-worthy corners, but the traditional Kecak Dance after dark is not-to-be-missed!

3. Sunset-watching on the beach

Bali is known for its sunset with good reasons. Head to any beach in Canggu on a clear day, and you are very likely to be rewarded with golden sunset only Bali can.
