Description
Taking its name from its unique location on the beach, The Cove Bali is a perfect hideaway. This villa offers a secluded and private location despite being right on the beach. Located on the West coast of Bali, the hidden gem is situated in a coconut grove. The Cove has a living room, kitchen and dining area, and 4 bedrooms each with a terrace or deck facing the ocean. There is also a guesthouse, a 14-meter infinity pool, and a tennis court. The Cove is a full serviced villa with an experienced staff including a private chef cooking delicious, fresh food every day.
Bedrooms
The Cove Bali has 4 bedrooms in the main house and a separate one-bedroom guest house near the pool. Each bedroom has its own terrace or deck facing the ocean, offering guests beautiful seaside views whichever room is taken. The bedrooms are sized comfortably with a cosy feel. Each one has its own air conditioning unit and ceiling fan for maximum comfort.
Outdoor areas
Enjoy private access to the beach from this beachfront property which has a walk-through grotto. Take an invigorating swim in a 14-meter infinity swimming pool or simply spend the time away by the poolside to the gentle swaying of coconut trees. There’s ample space by the pool deck with sundowner bar seating for lounging and relaxing. Or have some sports action on the tennis court which can also be used for badminton, volleyball, or other games.

In The Cove Bali, guests can still enjoy the tropical vibe of Bali even when within the villa’s living areas, with wall-to-wall doors, stunning views that provide a seamless transition between the indoors and outdoors. The Cove Bali is located in West Bali, 2.5 hours from Denpasar International Airport. The villa is easy to locate along the main road in the Tabanan Regency connecting Denpasar and Gilimanuk. Away from the congested areas of Kuta, Seminyak, and Canggu, it is a minute drive to Balian village surrounded by pristine rice paddies, traditional villages, colourful local markets, and ancient temples.

Great views, great food, great place!
The location is fantastic, right on the beach with amazing swimming pool. The service is five star, all the staff has been great, attentive and courteous. Breakfast was abundant and tasty! The chef really delivers; all the food has been delicious. My wife was especially impressed by the variety of vegetarian dishes. We play tennis so the tennis court was a real bonus. The kids loved that there is a cave on the beach and they played there while me and my wife had drinks in the cabana. We watched the sunset with a cocktail and the chef surprised us with freshly-made mushroom tempura and fried calamari to enjoy as a snack. This is a magical place for the whole family!

Breakfast will excellent view. What else you can ask more. Location was not hard to find. Everything exceeds our expectations! I adore the beach, the sunset, the location, the infinity pool, the garden, the rooms, and the people!! If you enjoy peace and quiet, this Villa is ideal for you. I came with my family so i guess i can recommended for groups and families. Beautiful scenery especially the natural cave! You can grill in designated areas within the villa with a private chef on hand. It’s just Perfect!!!

wonderful villa, amazing staff
the staff were just fantastic, made the cook makes amazing balinese foods. the villa also were well kept and it has this amazing cave just infront of the villa by the beach.

We were in a group of 8 people for a week. The house is amazing and huge (including the pool house). Location a bit isolated if you need to go to a larger supermarket, but meh. Per the other comments the staff make this. Every day Wayan would ask what we wanted she would say her usual happy “ok” and it would just happen, including a birthday dinner. For the birthday, returning to the house the bath was full of flower petals and the bed was decorated, which was quite special, and did bring a tear to the eye of more than one of us. Pool is lovely and has shade from the trees. The ocean beach is a bit rough for kids to swim, but around the next beach is OK. The plastic on the shore is really upsetting and a wake-up to us all, but that is not the fault of The Cove. If you stay there, you will talk about it for years to come.

Belatedly getting around to writing this: my wife and I stayed at the Cove for two weeks from late December 2020 through to early January 2021 along with our two kids including a baby. We had a lovely and memorable stay. The grounds are stunning and vast – exactly what you’d hope for – and the facilities and features – from the beach and pool to the tennis ground and fish pond are more than enough to keep one happily occupied. What really stood out more, though, is the staff. Putu is a graceful and competent fixer/manager par excellence- really your go to guy. Wayang makes some wonderful dishes and actually goes and buys from local producers which creates the freshest food you could hope for (and contributes to the local economy along the way). The coastline can unfortunately see rubish pile up when we were there, but that’s sadly a feature of much of Bali’s coast and not specific to the Cove and the staff do an admirable job of trying to clear this when it happens. I wish the Cove and staff good luck as they navigate the challenges covid has brought to Bali as elsewhere. -Antoine
